Fees

Your lawyer's fees are set with reference to the complexity of the case and the foreseeable time taken to complete it. These are the subject of an estimate, the client's agreement and a detailed and transparent fee agreement.

Maître Lefébure can offer you a flat-rate, time-based or subscription-based fee structure, depending on your needs. Payments can be made in several instalments if necessary.

For certain cases, it may be agreed to set up a contingency fee, which cannot be exclusive due to the ethical rules prohibiting the quota litis pact (fees payable exclusively on the basis of the result) since the lawyer has an obligation of means and not of results.

For information purposes, the lawyer is liable for VAT at 20% and for 50% in miscellaneous charges.

Maître Lefébure accepts legal aid for victims of crime or sexual assault, as well as in certain exceptional cases.

Legal aid involves the payment of a fixed fee set by the State to cover your legal costs, which may be total or partial depending on your resources and situation.

Payments can be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer.
